Health & Safety of Employees

It is the policy of Confined Space Services to conduct its operations with due regard to safety, health and welfare of all its employees and that of the general public. We consider safety to be a management responsibility ranking above all other business activities and it is our intention to comply with both the requirements and spirit of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Management will ensure that its employees are fully aware and committed to observing the following principles.

Principles of Safety

To provide appropriate resources, information, instruction, training and supervision that is necessary to ensure the health and safety of employees at work as well as others.

To provide and maintain a healthy working environment with safe systems of work ensuring the health and safety of employees at work as well as others.

To take measures to achieve high standards of health and safety by eliminating or controlling any foreseeable hazards that may result in injury or illness.

To provide effective arrangements for effective management of all health, safety and welfare matters.

To ensure that all our employees are familiar with our health and safety policy and to recognise that they should take reasonable care for their own safety and that of others whilst at work.

To review and update our policy in light of any new experiences or legislation that may occur.
