Policy Statement for the Privacy of Customers

During the course of registering an account or placing contracts with Confined Space Services (UK) limited, we will ask you to submit relevant details via our registration form. You may also be asked for additional details if a specific contract or service requires information to complete your order.

During the registration process you will be asked for the following information: first name, surname, initials, title, company name and registration number, VAT registered number, company address and methods of contact, job function as well as agreeing to a company check. The information we request will be the minimal amount needed to successfully complete your contract.

At no point and with no exceptions shall we share your details or any information relating to business activity, to any outside organisations whilst complying with legislative bodies of law in the UK. We are committed to ensuring that your company information is protected and we shall not share any information such as working practices, documentation, technological innovation or any works we undertake on your behalf with any third party unless you have given your consent to such disclosure.

Security

The internet is not a secure medium. However we take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your information. We have put in place various security procedures, for example, our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorised personnel have access to client information. We use secure server software (SSL) and our database is hosted in a secure data centre. Whilst we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of data will not occur, we use our best efforts to prevent this.

All enquiries or complaints must be sent in writing on formal headed paper to the “Data Protection Compliance Manager” at our head office.
